Girls Trip to Mexico
March was a crazy month here in Austin, TX and by the end of it all, I was SERIOUSLY ready for an extended vacation. After looking at countless flights, I booked a trip to Cancun with one of my favorite fellow bloggers, ATX Party Girl. We were both in need of some RnR, and decided the Fiesta Americana Condesa All-Inclusive Resort was the place to be.
We landed in Cancun on Friday around noon, just early enough to catch some beach time. The hotel sent a car to pick us up from the airport and we were on our way! After checking in, we were shown to a beautiful, newly renovated room with champagne and personal welcome notes spelled out in rice on our beds (such a sweet touch). The room looked out to a beautiful view of the pool + ocean, and we knew it was time to head outside.
Time to take advantage of the all-inclusive bar… the wait staff immediately made their way over as we laid out by the water. They brought us two delicious (& tropical) piña coladas to sip, and take in the blue ocean view. There was not a single cloud in the sky, and the sun was very strong.. urging the need for the SPF 30 sunscreen that we found at the gift shop.
Our must try food item of the trip had to be the ceviche + fish tacos. There was also an incredible Paella pop-up on the pool deck that Sunday afternoon. We visited several of the resort’s main restaurants, including: Trattoria, San Telmo, Cevicheria and El Mexicano
I cannot mention enough how friendly and accommodating the hotel staff were to us. This is a must-book beach vacation!
